A deep burgundy, almost wine, set off by a powder pink border and handle. The contrast is soft rather than sharp: two elegant shades that go wonderfully together.

The body is worked in a compact tight stitch, which gives the bag its structured, upright silhouette. The top border is finished in a scallop, and the bag is crocheted directly onto its oval cognac leather base — the only warm element of the bag, which warms the burgundy.

It is the autumn piece of the collection. It takes low light particularly well, showing off the depth of this dark red.
