The exact opposite of the burgundy model: here it is the powdery mauve that fills the body of the bag, and the deep burgundy that borders the top and forms the handle. Same construction, balance of power reversed — the piece immediately looks softer and more luminous.

The stitch is tight and regular, worked in neat horizontal rows, which gives the bag its structured, upright silhouette. Burgundy scalloped top border, the bag being crocheted directly onto its oval powder pink leather base, tone on tone with the body.

It is the mid-season piece par excellence: light enough for spring, deep enough in its contrasts to go perfectly with autumn outfits.
